General Questions/New to Joomla! 5.x • Change menus/page content

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately, I do not know the keywords to describe what I want precisely.
Instead, I need to be a bit wordier:

I recently created a site for our upcoming chess tournament (https://turnier.schachforum-darmstadt.de/ ; Joomla 5.0.2).
We are pretty happy with the functionality for this exact tournament, but we have other tournaments as well, some of which require a simultaneous dynamic web presence (so hosting a static version of the site after a particular tournament is over and re-using the site for the next tournament is out of the question).

I'd like to avoid adding a level of indirection to the menus in the style of
"Teilnehmer" (participants) > "Tournament A", "Tournament B", ... > "Gruppe A" (group A in the current tournament), "Gruppe B", ...

So I was wondering if there is a functionality to change the site's content/the menu items/module content (the content on the left is within a module) based on, for example, a top-level switch I can put on the right side.

I'm happy for even a pointer to what I need to search for!
